Registration of permanent residence
Within three days of being served the permanent residence permit, you are required to register your permanent residence at an administrative unit. When registering your permanent residence, you are required to attach a valid personal identity document containing a photograph and evidence that you have the right to stay at the address you are registering. Proof of ownership, a rental or an underlease agreement or the written consent of the owner or co-owners of a dwelling or a manager of an accommodation facility where the owner's consent need not be verified are deemed as evidence.
If the real estate at the address where you wish to register your permanent residence is entered into a Land Register, the ownership of this real estate needs not be proved as this information shall be obtained by the relevant body ex officio; however, in the event of such, you should communicate the Land Register entry number, the cadastral municipality or the parcel number, and the address of the competent court.
More information on the registration of residence and the option to e-register your residence is available at the administrative units or at the address of the e-administration web portal.
