Act Restricting the Use of Alcohol

The sale and offering of alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of 18 is prohibited. In shops, bars, pubs, clubs and restaurants, you may be asked to prove your age by providing an identity document. If you decline to do so, alcoholic beverages will not be sold or offered to you. Sale of alcoholic beverages to persons showing clear signs of intoxication is also prohibited. Furthermore, the sale of alcoholic beverages in shops is prohibited from 9:00pm to 7:00am every day. In pubs, bars and restaurants, sale of spirit drinks from opening time until 10am is also prohibited.
