Family reunion

You may obtain a temporary residence permit for your family members if you have a permanent or temporary residence permit in the Republic of Slovenia, except in cases where your temporary residence permit is issued for the purposes of performing seasonal work.

You can submit the application at a diplomatic mission or consulate of the Republic of Slovenia abroad or at the administrative unit in the area where you reside or intend to reside.

Aside from the basic conditions for obtaining a residence permit for your family members, you are obliged to prove the existence of family relationship (original extracts from registers proving your marriage or your child's birth, written on international forms or the forms of your home country, translated into Slovenian and verified).
